Matt Haas is the Author of Long Island's Haunted Travel Guide Series and Founder of LIGHT Paranormal Research. He is also the Director & Producer of the Documentary Shadows of the day, Shadows of the night.

LIGHT was formed in the early Spring of 2006. The Long Island Ghost Hunting Team's goal is to educate people in and out of the Paranormal Community. The team is unique for their methods & techniques. LIGHT experiments with many investigative theories & ideas from a scientific approach. Since the Spring of 2006 LIGHT has been on local t.v.. They currently run their own live radio program entitled Don't be Afraid of the Dark Radio! The Long Island Ghost Hunting Team serves Long Island, New York, NYC, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, The Tri-State area and across the East Coast.

Matt Haas is also the Founder of United Paranormal. United Paranormal is a networking system & coalition of paranormal teams, independent investigators, paranormal enthusiasts and psychics who have the goals to help improve the Paranormal Community. United Paranormal is also a support group and resouce for Paranormal needs. United Paranormal is proud to be the host of many teams on Long Island & Nation Wide.
